Ronaqua's sediment water filter cartridges are industry standard 10-inch sediment water filter cartridges with 50 micron. These cartridges are used to effectively remove most sediments, and particles. It is perfect for standard reverse osmosis water filtration units or any type of water filtration unit with a 10-inch housing. With a micron rating of 50, it is the smallest opening preventing most particulates from entering your water system. 

Melt-blown Four Layer Filtration Polypropylene Sediment Filter Cartridges

The sediment filter cartridge is often used in the first filter installed in the Reverse Osmosis circuit. Sediment filters are produced from fine melted polypropylene, which is then blown and spun into a sort of cylindrical form. The primary operation of a sediment filter cartridge is to remove large, unwanted fine particles from drinking water, such as sand, dirt, silt, and rust particles.
